Rebozo massage

IMG_7606.jpeg
What is this

Two-hour immersive body practice.

In clothing, with the help of gentle rocking movements, the fabric itself is touched.

A kind of silent psychotherapy.

A gentle, relaxing, rocking, and soothing massage with hugging, enveloping, and wrapping rebozo scarves. This practice helps you relax, let go, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. It can be a pleasant birthday gift for loved ones or a chance to unwind on your day off. The practice also helps you release physical pain, centers the body, relaxes muscles, and has a positive effect on the nervous system, and through it, directly on all other body systems, making it a permanent healing practice.

Why is this?

*For the body to reset to a point of rest, only from there is recovery possible

*Changes on the physical plane:

• muscle relaxation, stretching of ligaments

• relief of muscle spasms and tension

• improved blood circulation

• cleansing the body through activation of the lymphatic system

• centering the body and aligning the spine

*Changes in emotional terms:

• balancing emotions

• relief from anxiety or depression

• letting go of control, a state of safety and security and the ability to finally allow yourself to enter the receiving mode, to stop “giving away”

• feeling of maternal care

• letting go of old roles, alien things, everything that has outlived its usefulness and doesn’t work

*In order for internal cleansing to take place, space for the new was created

*To explore enough what you want to let go of so that it goes away

*To deepen your familiarity with your body and sensitivity in the most non-invasive, gentle, respectful and supportive way

*The canvas is like a bridge between You and You.

The canvas as a bridge

During the making of the rebozo, the spinner weaves her intentions into the fabric, thus creating an absolutely magical, multi-purpose fabric. The rebozo will then become an extension of my hands, and my hands will become an extension of my heart, and

bridge

between my ability to gently hold space and you, your emotions, words and intentions and your new physical and internal state.

*to be that very pause that allows you to escape from the rhythm of life and be yourself and with yourself

A little fairy tale in life

In Slavic tradition, there is a tale about the Kalinov Bridge, a crossing over a fiery river. It is a bridge between the realm of the living (Yav') and the realm of the dead (Nav'), a sacred boundary. It is a symbol of initiation—a person's transition from ignorance to spiritual maturity, liberation from inner fears and chaos. The bridge's name comes not from the viburnum shrub, but from the Old Russian root "kal," meaning red-hot metal. The thin, red-hot bridge is a test, where the one who stumbles falls into the fiery river. Near such a bridge resides an animal of transition, often a wolf. It maintains order, it knows, it accompanies souls in both directions, protects them during the transition, and sometimes bestows gifts.
